GUARDIANSHIP
HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT

When Would You Need a Corporate Guardian?
In most cases, when a person becomes incapacitated due to illness, disability or other challenging circumstance, a close friend or family member is able to step in and help that person manage their personal affairs.
In some cases, however, the person may not have anyone willing to fill this role and will require the services of a Corporate Guardian. To meet this need, Visions Case Management works in conjunction with the New Mexico DDPC Office of Guardianship to provide plenary (full) or limited Corporate Guardianship services designed to make important financial and/or medical decisions on behalf of legally incapacitated individuals.

Our Corporate Guardians are certified by the Center for Guardianship Certification and receive initial and ongoing trainings by the National Guardianship Association.

Our Trained Corporate Guardians Are Ready to Help.
When someone can no longer make safe or informed decisions about their daily life, a legal guardian may be appointed to ensure their well-being. At Visions Case Management, our trained corporate guardians step into that role with compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to dignity.

We understand that guardianship is never a one-size-fits-all solution. Each person we serve has their own history, preferences, and needs. Our guardians take the time to learn who they are—not just what the court paperwork says. From coordinating medical care and managing benefits to making sure someone has groceries in the fridge and lights on at home, we’re here to ensure every detail is handled with care.

Whether a person needs short-term support or long-term oversight, Visions brings decades of experience and heart to every guardianship we hold. We don’t just make decisions—we build trust.

Why Visions?
Because guardianship requires more than just oversight—it requires expertise, integrity, and care.

At Visions, we understand the weight of the role we’ve been trusted with. As court-appointed guardians, we are responsible for making decisions that directly impact the health, safety, and quality of life of vulnerable adults across New Mexico—and we take that responsibility seriously.

Every member of our guardianship team is certified and trained through the National Guardianship Association (NGA) and receives ongoing professional development to stay up to date on best practices, ethics, and person-centered care. This ensures that our decisions are grounded in nationally recognized standards—and driven by compassion.

But what truly sets Visions apart is our people-first approach. We take time to understand each person’s unique needs, preferences, and story. We work closely with providers, medical teams, families, and the courts to advocate for the individual’s best interest—whether that means arranging care, managing finances, or simply being a steady, trusted presence.

At Visions, guardianship isn’t just a legal function; it’s a relationship built on trust, respect, and a lifelong commitment to dignity.
